A report from the Malvern autumn show 1997. Philip Tivey and son's exhibit here was awarded a large Gold medal, and the award of a cut glass bowl for the most meritorius exhibit in the whole show. This display was put on a short list for consideration for the Williams memorial Medal by the RHS. This award is given once per year to an outstanding exhibition comprising of only one genus.
