Chris Tivey is seen here with Alan Ravenscroft the show director for the Harrogate flower show. As this show is in the autumn, it is one of the best to show off dahlias at their absolute pinnacle. Harrogate was also the home of the national dahlia society show in the north, which ran along side of the flower show.
